We are constantly in the process of updating information on our website. Please feel free to let us know if there is something that you feel should be changed concerning the content or that you would like to see something added. For more private information, such as crescents, please log into our websites private section. In this section you will be able to access the current and past crescents, a membership directory and be able to view content that the public does not have access to.
In the upper left corner of the page you'll see an area to log-in with a User-name and Password. Fill in your information to access the private portion of our site. If you do not have a User-name or Password click on the "Alumni Register Here" link and fill out the appreciate information. The website administrator will then accept your registration or deny it if you are not an alumni of Alpha Gamma Rho. Once registered you can complete your profile so others know where you are and what your are doing these days.

Epsilon Chapter Advisor - Dr. Thomas E. Socha
|

Dr. Thomas Socha was born and raised on a dairy and hog farm in Wisconsin, 23 miles northwest of Green Bay. He attended school nearb and later earned a Bachelor and Master degree at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls in 1968 and 1969 respectively. While at River Falls, Thomas helped form an Alpha Gamma Rho Colony/Fraternity which was officially installed in 1968 as Alpha Psi. His pin number at Alpha Psi is #14. Thomas went on to complete his PhD in Animal Breeding at the University of Nebraska. His career began and Dr. Socha spent 25 years as CEO for Nebraska SPF Swine Accrediting Agency where the duties included: geneticist, administrator, promotion manager, on-farm research, whole herd performance testing, and general corporate management. Thomas is married to Joan Lucille and they have four children: Dawn, Stephen, Damian and Shannon. They have a total of 7 grandchildren. Dr. Socha accepted a job at NDSU in 1998 as extension swine specialist. Thomas enjoys playing sports and was a fast pitch coach for 22 years and was inducted into the Nebraska Softball Hall of Honor.
Dr. Socha has also received several awards from pork producers and the Livestock Conservation Institute. He has served on the board of directors and as President of the National Swine Improvement Federation. Thomas also has served as the Advisor for Kappa Chapter at University of Nebraska.
